Having been in the travel industry for more than 30 years and having visited an array of enviable destinations, Lisa has a host of first-hand travel advice to offer her clients. 

For example, she recommends visiting Angelina, a teahouse on the Rue de Rivoli in Paris, for its amazing hot chocolate and Mont Blanc dessert. More foodie recommendations include Nu Eatery in Hoi An, Vietnam, which she says have the best pork steamed buns she’s ever had. Meanwhile, the best seafood she’s come across was fresh off the boats at San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.  She’ll even give you the inside tip of where to get the best sunset view. “In Hawaii, it’s from the revolving restaurant atop the Waikiki Tower in Honolulu”.

Despite her many travels, or perhaps because of them, Lisa cannot single out a favourite destination among them. She says that every place is different, which is why she loves exploring new places. In fact, Lisa feels that every holiday she has changes her life in some way due to the experiences she has while travelling. It’s one of the reasons she keeps exploring.

Her area of expertise has also changed over the years. In her twenties she loved selling tours aimed at young people, but having travelled with her family the last 15 years she feels she is now an expert in knowing where the best family holidays can be found.

Lisa values her clients. “A lot of mine are family or friends, but even those new to me become friends down the track. I love helping them put together their holidays and offering tips and hints from my own holiday experiences!” She also enjoys researching destinations she hasn’t been too and hearing her clients’ travel stories when they return from holidays.
