Discover rarely visited parts of Australia during an expedition cruise to Arnhem Land, the Top End and Far North Queensland, as well as the Torres Strait. Encounter rich Indigenous culture, explore lush tropical islands, and stand at the continent’s most northerly point. Set sail knowing that everything has been catered for, with gourmet dining and free-flowing beverages enjoyed throughout our time on board. Paspaley Pearly Private Charter

Cruise as one of only 28 guests aboard Paspaley Pearl and access remote coastal environments with ease. Over 12 spectacular nights, our boutique vessel advances our arrival to these far-flung regions, accompanied by our onboard naturalists.

Ancient Cultures & Distant Discoveries

We immerse ourselves within venerated lands, home to the oldest continuous culture on Earth. As we learn more about the Dreaming and ancient rock art, while meeting with Indigenous communities, our voyage becomes imbued with a sense of timelessness, as we trace coasts to otherwise seldom-visited sites.

Mt Borradaile Rock Art

View some of the world’s oldest and rarely seen rock art galleries in Arnhem Land’s Mt Borradaile. Aboard light aircraft, we reach this remote and sacred site, which features depictions of animals (some now extinct) as well as Creation Stories. Here, we also look upon the revered Rainbow Serpent.

See the sunrise from ‘the tip’ of Australia

For a brief time, we are the northernmost people on the Australian mainland, as we reach the rocky tip of Cape York. Gaze across the mesmerising blue waters of the Torres Strait to neighbouring islands during this precious moment.

Contemplate Cook’s Historic Voyage

Absorb panoramic coastal views while hearing about Captain Cook’s expedition. See the monument dedicated to the navigator and his crew in Cooktown. At the James Cook Museum, see remarkable exhibits, including an anchor and canon belonging to the Endeavour.
